News and Events 2011 Working together with the developers of Saddlebrook, Rex and his team successfully reached an agreement that further supports Saddlebrook remaining an all custom neighborhood for Custom Builders and Custom Home Buyers. Because of the stability and success of Saddlebrook since commencing in 2007, Rex started 3 spec homes in the last quarter of '10 and 2 more specs in the first quarter of '11. In all, Saddlebrook had 9 homes under construction in various phases by three fully custom builders in the opening months of 2011. 2010 A company-wide rebranding campaign and name change was implemented in 2010. When others may be retreating, Rex takes the lead with a new company look that better positions his company for the long term. The new brand is cleaner and precise and better positions him and his company as one of the premier builders of fine custom homes in greater Indianapolis and Hamilton County. This year has been a fairly busy and promising one. Although many competitors have dropped off or gone away for various reasons, Rex and his team have managed their way through the challenging home building environment. They've adopted new business practices which have streamlined costs and implemented new designs which are more reflective of tomorrow's living styles and standards. 2009 Rex and his family invited clients, vendors and the entire neighborhood of the Village of WestClay to their home on August 1, 2009 to celebrate the good fortunes of previous years and to meet new friends and to look forward to the future with excitement and optimism. An estimated 200 guests attended. In one of the most challenging periods in new home building, Rex closed (6) custom homes and started (3) others in 2009. Pockets of affluence exist in every environment and the desire for high quality and reliability will never go away. 2008 Rex added Linda Klain in April '08, a former builder for 10 years in the Carmel Indiana market & real estate broker, to his team as a full time Design & Sales Director.
