Rex offers fixed price & cost plus contracts.
Rex offers two ways to implement the home building process: Fixed Price Contract and Cost Plus Contract. Both offer advantages. Fixed Price means that Rex signs a contract with you to build the home per a specific set of plans and specifications. If lumber goes up at the lumber yard, your cost stays fixed. So, the only time you would pay more than the stated contract amount is if you exceed allowances for selections or make changes. Cost Plus means you pay what Rex pays for everything plus a percentage of the cost of the home for his building fee which varies on the project. The best way to understand which is best for you is to discuss your ideas and concerns with Rex and explore all the issues together.
